Dear Summer Haus Families,

Welcome to Year 6 of Summer Haus; and what promises to be our most intentional, energized, and impactful summer yet.

What started six summers ago as a vision has grown into a tradition. And last summer, at our home inside Greater Lawrence Technical School, we hit a new stride. The energy was higher. The programming was stronger. The kids were thriving. We saw confidence rise, friendships form, and campers leave each day exhausted, smiling, and excited to come back.

This summer, we’re not reinventing the wheel …we’re building on success.

Looking Back at a Breakout Summer

Last summer set a new standard for Summer Haus with over 200 campers! The space, the flow of the days, the themed weeks, the field trips, and the freedom our campers had to explore and grow all came together in a special way. Families felt it. Kids felt it. Our staff felt it.

The GLTS campus gave us room to move, play, create, and adapt; whether that meant wide-open outdoor fields, hands-on workshops, or seamless transitions indoors when the weather didn’t cooperate. That momentum is carrying straight into this season, with refinements and upgrades across the board.

Thoughtfully Designed Programming by Age

At Summer Haus, we know one size does not fit all. That’s why our camp is structured into age-specific pods, allowing every camper to feel challenged, supported, and included.

Senior Campers (Ages 11–13)
Our oldest campers get an elevated experience designed to match their growing independence and curiosity. This group will dive deeper into specialized workshops like technology, cosmetology, landscaping, and sports performance, working with experienced instructors and coaches. These opportunities give them a sense of ownership, responsibility, and pride ..while still delivering everything they love about camp.

Juniors & Explorers (Ages 7–8 and 9–10)
These campers experience the heart of Summer Haus. Their days are packed with themed adventures, creative projects, team games, field trips, and classic camp fun. It’s the perfect balance of structure and freedom, designed to spark imagination, build friendships, and keep kids active and engaged all summer long.

Minis (Ages 5–6)
Our youngest campers are welcomed into camp with a program built just for them. The Minis experience focuses on confidence-building, routine, and fun through age-appropriate games, crafts, movement, and gentle instruction. It’s a joyful introduction to camp life in a safe, supportive environment.

Expanded Hands-On Workshops
New learning opportunities in areas like technology, environmental science, and creative trades—many with certificates of completion campers can be proud of.
New Theme Weeks & Camp Traditions
Fresh challenges, games, and celebrations that emphasize teamwork, creativity, and pure fun.
Age-Specific Field Trips
Bi-weekly on-campus adventures tailored to each pod, chosen to inspire curiosity and excitement.
Enhanced Sports & Recreation Access
More structured play and skill-building across basketball, soccer, volleyball, tennis and outdoor games.
Mini Camp store
A brand-new camper favorite, featuring fun prizes and rewards that campers can purchase using their hard-earned camp cash!

Ready for Anything—Rain or Shine

One of the biggest advantages of our location is flexibility. With access to indoor gyms, cafeterias, and activity spaces, Summer Haus runs smoothly no matter the forecast. Whether it’s a heat wave or a rainy afternoon, the fun never stops.

At Summer Haus, we’re not just filling days ..we’re creating experiences kids carry with them. Confidence. Independence. Friendship. Joy. Every summer, we watch campers grow in ways that go far beyond games and activities; and that’s what keeps families coming back year after year.
